So I mentioned in another post (Friday Favorites) that I was starting to use Young Living Essential Oils in my daily life. I am still learning and am seriously starting out SLOWLY. I just haven’t had a lot of time to devote to making recipes and researching ways to use them. So I wanted to start out with something easy! I decided to make my own dishwasher detergent. The recipe was super simple! Right now with Blake being the only one living at the apartment, we don’t have to run the dishwasher very often. So I thought this would be a good time to try this one out! I used a Young Living recipe I found on Pinterest. You can check out my Pinterest here and look at my Oily Living board. I was able to find all the products I needed at Wal-Mart. I recently became an Amazon Prime member, so I think future purchases will be made from there.
I only have the oils from my starter pack, so I didn’t have orange essential oil. Instead I used lemon and lavender.
